Where to Eat in Green Bay for the NFL Draft

Green Bay might be known for its football legacy, but it’s also home to an impressive and diverse food scene. From upscale dining experiences to cozy local gems, there’s something for every palate. Whether you’re a local looking for a new spot to try or visiting the area for a Packers game, here are some of the top places to eat in and around Green Bay. PLEASE MAKE A RESERVATION WHEREVER YOU DECIDE TO GO.

Bleu Restaurant & Lounge – De Pere

Bleu is a hidden gem located just south of Green Bay in De Pere. It’s a cozy yet upscale spot with some pretty creative dishes. We compare it to Rye in Appleton.

Bleu’s ever-changing menu reflects the seasons and the chef’s inspirations, people seem to like the miso-glazed salmon, wild mushroom risotto, lobster rolls, and craft cocktails. We haven’t been able to try much of the menu but have loved the food every time we’ve gone there. We HIGHLY recommend the chef’s tasting for a special occasion!

Mangiare – Green Bay

Click here for an in-depth review. Mangiare brings a taste of Italy to northeastern Wisconsin with authentic Italian cuisine in a charming setting. From hand-tossed pizzas to freshly made pasta dishes, this spot is all about bold flavors. Their Bolognese and carbonara are house favorites, and the wine list offers plenty of Italian selections to complement your meal. Don’t skip dessert!

Tavern in the Sky – Green Bay (right across from Lambeau Field in Lodge Kohler)

Tavern in the Sky is the best fine dining for any Packer fan because the views literally cannot be beat. The food has actually been a hit or miss for us.

The hits:
– Sea bass: light and flavorful for a seafood lover
– Star Dust and Bermuda Triangle cocktails
– The tenderloin sliders are no longer on the menu but if they ever come back, get them!
– The filet is better than the ribeye

The misses:
– Scallops: Very small portion of food and the chickpea risotto doesn’t have much going on. It’s basically just a pile of chickpeas. This entree felt a little too healthy for the price.
– They had a rose creme brûlée around Valentine’s Day before. While the color is very fitting for the season, the flavor was not good. They don’t have a current dessert menu online so we aren’t sure if it’s still there or not. Pick a chocolate dessert instead!

Chefusion – Green Bay

For those seeking a fine dining experience, Chefusion offers a sophisticated menu that highlights culinary creativity. Located in downtown Green Bay, this restaurant features a chef’s tasting menu, as well as à la carte options that cater to a range of tastes. The filet mignon, duck breast, and seafood specials are consistently praised by locals and visitors alike.

Vintage Cantina – Green Bay

This is our favorite taco spot in Green Bay! You can find the classics here but they also have a great variety of non-traditional options like a Reuben taco, turkey and mashed potato taco, bbq tacos, and more. The margaritas are also great!

The Exchange – De Pere – BEST breakfast & coffee option

Upscale and stylish, The Exchange has our favorite coffee and bubble waffles (in addition to other great breakfast and lunch options). This place is POPULAR and you cannot make reservations as it is technically quick-service. The chicken and waffles or Wisconsin Pride are our go-tos because they offer both a waffle and a protein for the best price. Beware that the cold brew is extremely strong. We recommend iced lattes instead.

Plae Bistro – Green Bay

Plae Bistro is a stylish yet approachable restaurant that strikes the perfect balance between upscale and casual. With a focus on fresh, contemporary American cuisine, the menu ranges from hearty pasta and seafood dishes to light and flavorful salads. If you have a large group of more than 6 or need a private dining option, they have the Chef’s Table by reservation.

Rustique Pizzeria – Suamico

If you love wood-fired pizzas like we do, this is a great pick! Located in a historic chapel in Suamico, Rustique offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere that’s hard to beat. The vibe is casual and family-friendly, making it a great stop whether you’re a pizza purist or looking for something a little more adventurous.

Cheesesteak Rebellion – Green Bay

Nerds unite! This Star Wars-themed eatery has become a local favorite for its indulgent, over-the-top cheesesteaks, loaded fries, and unique décor. Fun, flavorful, and totally unexpected.

Hagemeister Park – Green Bay

Located on the Fox River, Hagemeister Park is a lively bar and grill with an outdoor beer garden that’s perfect during warm months. They offer hearty Midwest comfort food—think burgers, wings, and walleye—plus they have brunch too!

Heights Bar and Grill – Green Bay

A hidden gem in Howard with a laid-back atmosphere, Heights Bar and Grill offers great pub-style food and live music on weekends.

Hinterland Brewery – Titletown District

Just steps from Lambeau Field, Hinterland is a rustic-chic brewery and restaurant serving up wood-fired fare with upscale flair. Try the bison burger, seared tuna, or duck tacos, all best paired with a house-brewed IPA or porter. The vibe here is classy but totally approachable.

Chives Restaurant – Suamico

If you’re after fine dining but with a homey vibe, Chives in Suamico is your spot. Known for its locally sourced ingredients and rotating menu, Chives serves everything from dry-aged steaks to seafood and handmade desserts. It’s perfect for date nights or special celebrations. This was previously noted as being one of Aaron Rodgers’ favorites in the area.

Plank Road Pub & Grill – De Pere

Plank Road delivers when you want a chill environment and solid pub grub. Their pizzas are a local favorite, and they serve up classic Wisconsin fare like Friday fish fry and cheese curds. It’s a great stop for casual dining with family or friends.

Brickhouse – De Pere

Modern, fun, and full of flavor, Brickhouse offers a creative menu with everything from smoked meats and wings to loaded burgers and unique apps.

Angelina’s – Downtown Green Bay

Unfortunately we have not had the chance to try Angelina’s yet but the Fox Cities Food community claims it is the best Italian food in Green Bay. Not only that, Jordan Love has endorsed it as one of his favorites in the area.
